Grande Organic 2 Pump White Mocha. Thanks.

I am one of those people. I haven't reached the point of specifying the temperature of my caffeine fix, but I am mighty anal about the kind of milk and the amount of syrup used my drink.

First off, the "organic" milk request can be justified by a simple sampling of organic milk (vs. generic, what I call "crap," milk). It's sweeter and colder. better. Second, the syrup–ummmm, isn't caffeine a more adult drug? 4 pumps is insane!! It's just too much... I think my 2 year old daughter would gag on the sweetness. Be honest. How many of you drink your mochas about 3 quarters of the way down and then stop? That's what I thought. I think we should start a petition to get Starbucks to lower their syrup to espresso shot ratio. One pump per shot. That's really all anyone needs. If it's not enough, just get the whip cream on top and I promise, you will be satisfied. If everyone in the whole world would argue for this two pump standard, then I could order my coffee without sounding like an asshole. Who's with me?

You sound like my best friend in Chicago,an adolescent psychiatrist and psychoanalyst. One day when I was up there she requested a drink that was very specific...I can't remember the exact order but it was something like grande organic skim hot chocolate with half chocolate and mostly skim milk topped with two swirls of whipped cream two spoonfuls of shaved chocolate. It was exhausting trying to tell the barrista all of that! Your blog is funny.
